Augusta national golf club announced that the 2024 masters would have a total purse of $20 million, marking a new tournament high by $2 million and the largest payout awarded to players at one. The masters champion will earn $3.6m (£2.89m), up by $360,000 (£289,000) from last year, after officials announced the overall prize fund had been increased from $18m.
